The Memphis Freethought Alliance meets twice a week at Newk's Cafe Express at 2200 Germantown Parkway, Cordova, TN, that is, each Wednesday at 6:30 pm "Ockham's Cafe" (http://www.meetup.com/Ockhams-Cafe/) and each Saturday at 5 pm "MFA Book Club"(http://www.memphisfreethought.com/bookclub.html) meets there.
Library meetings are generally on the last Sunday of each month from 1-3 PM (with some exceptions) at the The Benjamin L. Hooks Central Library, which is the main branch on 3030 Poplar Avenue, Memphis, TN.

- October 18th from 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm with Q&A afterward. Victor Stenger (author/scientist) will give a talk for MFA and the public at the Neshoba Unitarian Universalist Church at 7350 Raleigh LaGrange Road, Cordova, TN 38018.
- October 19th from 2 pm to 4 pm: Informal discussion with Victor Stenger at the Benjamin L. Hooks Central Library in Memphis.

Sunday, March 30 from 1:30 pm to 3 pm: Dr. Mark Muesse from Rhodes College will lecture. The title is "Imagining Hinduism." His talk will be 1:30 pm to 2:30 pm and the Q&A will be from 2:30 pm to 3 pm.
- Sunday, April 6 from 1 to 3 pm: Shelby Farms Park Litter Patrol. Join MFA members cleaning up Shelby Farms. Meet us at the The Shelby Farms Visiting Center at 500 Pine Lake Drive, Memphis, TN 38134.
- Sunday, April 20 from 10am to 5 pm: Down to Earth Day Celebration at Shelby Farms in Cordova. MFA will have a booth at the event. Come and join us!
Sunday, April 27 from 1 to 3 pm: Elections for the MFA Secretary, President, Directors and Treasurer. All current paid MFA members can vote or be nominated.

- Saturday, May 17 from 9 am to 5 pm: A' Fair in Hernando, MS. The Memphis Freethought Alliance will have a freethought booth at the fair so stop by! Herando Optimist Club (http://www.hernandooptimist.org/)
Sunday, May 18 from 1 to 3 pm: Showing "The History of Disbelief" or "The God Who Wasn't There" ("The History of Disbelief" will be played if the public library's internet service is operational).
- Saturday, May 24 from 10 to 2 pm: Cookout at Cameron-Brown Park in Germantown. Look for the Memphis Freethought Alliance banner on the pavilion.
- Saturday, June 21 from 12 pm to whenever: MFA meeting at Steve's house in Bolivar along Hwy 100. Construction of "Prayer Not Working? We can help" sign.
