WE ARE A SMALL 501(c)(3) NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION, AND YOU CAN HELP US WITH ANY OF YOUR RESOURCES (THAT IS, TIME, MONEY OR TALENT).

MFA does not discriminate (i.e., unlawful or intentional act of unfairness) against a person based on race, ethnicity, sex, sexual orientation, national origin, physical or mental disability, or age.  MFA Officers volunteer to implement the mission of MFA, which is advancing reason, science, and secular government through education.    In addition, MFA’s Officers volunteer to follow our written purposes as follows:

·         Foster an environment suitable for free speech and exchange of ideas.

·         Provide a forum for educational films and lectures .

·         Defend the constitutional separation of church and state as well as oppose government sponsored religious events.

·         Defend the teaching of scientific theories over non-scientific theories in public school science classes.

·         Oppose pseudoscience, flim-flam, fraud, myths, misleading information, and hoaxes in the media.

·         Recognize the civil rights of atheists, agnostics, secular humanists and others who do not believe in god(s) or other supernatural forces.

·         Seek to improve society through secular humanism, science and critical thinking, and rational philosophical discourse.
